The Gator Oscillator is built on the basis of Alligator, and shows the degree of convergence/divergence of its balance lines (smoothed moving average). The upper histogram indicates the absolute distinction between the rates of red and blue lines. The same distinction, with negative sign because histogram is drawn from top downwards, is shown by the bottom histogram.
